• General A.I.(strong A.I.)- General A.I. is also known as strong A.I. It performs intellectual tasks like a human being. It can perform any task by using it’s cognitive abilities much like a human being.

• Super A.I.- Super A.I. is sometimes called as super intelligence A.I. system. This is very well develop type of A.I. system. It is considered as the most sophisticated kind of A.I. It creates emotional understanding ,desires and have ability to develop high – thinking and problem solving skills more advance than any human being.

Based on functionality-

• Reactive Machines- It is the basic form of A.I. This type of A.I. do not usage experiences of past .It generally act on what it see. These types of A.I. system or machines used to react automatically responding on a limited sets of inputs. These types of machines is basically automated to react to a given sets of actions on the present. Like-IBM’S Deep Blue, Google Alpha Go.

• Limited Memory- This type of A.I. system or machine is able to store past experiences. Limited Memory machines are the purely reactive machines. They have short-term memory which allows them to temporarily store experiences and use it to practice tasks. Like-Self-driving cars.

• Theory of Mind- These types of A.I. systems are able to understand feelings, thoughts, emotions and motives. They are generally able to understand the feelings and thoughts in a better ways. Like-Sophia robot.

• Self-awareness A.I.- It is a category of A.I. which has develop the ability of self-awareness in the way as a human being’s brain does. They have emotions, needs and desire also of their own. Like-Eva in movie

• Machine Learning- It gives computers or machines the ability to learn without explicitly programming them to perform tasks or works. It works on various algorithms.

• Deep Learning- It is a subsets of machine learning. It works with subsets of artificial neural networks which helps them to learn how human being’s thinks.

• N.L.P.- It stands for Natural Language Processing. It deals with the interaction between computer and humans by using Natural Language which helps to communicate with machines.

• Robotics- Robotics is a branch of A.I. system. It basically deals with advance technologies of creating robots. Robots are defined as any that works automatically to perform human’s tasks and makes work easier.

• Computer Vision- Computer Vision is also a field of A.I. it uses M.L.(machine language) and neural network which enables computers to interpret images, videos and other visual contents.

• Expert System- This is a computer program which is basically uses facts and heuristics for solving the complex problems. It’s main components are – Knowledge base , Inference-engine, Knowledge acquisition and learning module and user interface.

• Absence of emotions.
